Elyse!
...I feel like the favorite pet! But pl-ease don't put pink bows in my hair....I don't care for them...red ones....sure! The oven cleaner (fume free kind) worked like a charm. I was, once again, very impressed. This idea actually came from a cleaning employee of mine when I was running that cleaning business. I was skeptical but tried it, and it works! It makes sense, if it gets rid of tough oven grime, then soap scum is easy! Thank you for your encouraging words, Elyse! It really and truly helps when I'm in the middle of a big project like this. Letting go of 'messes', both physical and ....spiritual....is tough. The support is amazing, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Profound - Your depth is showing - and your precious underbelly ~ and I love you for this Darson.  I rub your soft spot and pat your wee little head and give you supportive hugs.  It takes a Big gal to admit what you have and you'll get there; I have no doubt.  Just don't get knocked out by the fumes Lady --- LOL.  Hmmm may use that stuff - but first may call in a cleaning service to get into my corners.  I'm getting too old for this cleaning stuff.   I so enjoy your blogs - such heart is here.  Elyse

Hey, Sam! It worked GREAT! It all came off, and things are shiny and lovely!!! Seriously, the oven cleaner is the way to go...harsh?...well, yes....but believe me, my shower needed more than scrubbing bubbles...it needed the ARMY. I understand about your home driving you nuts....Christmas is hard on homes. One guy at church said yesterday that a messy house after Christmas just meant they were able to have a houseful of loved ones. I say DITTO.

The Promised Land....ahhhh, yes, I can almost see it...the land of peaceful, clean houses....(sigh)....it's on the horizon!

Oven cleaner, flybiddy? WOW! It seems a bit harsh on the scum, what 'bout 'scrubbing bubbles' no yellow gloves needed! My house is cluttered from Christmas and it's driving me nuts! The flylady is rather disappointing, easy to give advice, but I want to see her in action, at my house no less. She needs to back up her '(coffee) mug' with some cream and sugar! lol Have a great day, and git that oven, er, master bath clean! sam

I believe that you will be able to accomplish all that you wish on the cleaning front. It all takes time. Keep on building on what you've done, and you will get there to the promise land.

Kabu.
You sweetheart, yourself! I know, I know, we are all the very hardest on ourselves, that's for sure. It was interesting the domino effect of this person getting upset...for a family that is rarely at odds, because we try to be careful...it seeped over onto my kids, too. Last night we were having drama after crazy drama...all started from one person who must've been feeling kind of ugly inside, for unknown reasons. And people like that are always quick to lash out and to blame, you're right. I do understand. I don't like feeling like I'm hurting people, knowingly or otherwise...but a little toughening up might just be one of the corners I'll have to work on. If I love me, and God loves me, that OUGHT to always be enough...that would help me to be less...sensitive....! And, Kabu, I do agree, not in a self-aggrandizing sort of way, that my husband is lucky to have me...most spouses don't realize that all the time. Especially since he's had a chance or two at some really nice people and happiness. It's not always seen as such. I'm realizing this, more and more, as I'm trying to be decent to his family and children. A lesser woman might have said, "Oh, BAG IT," long ago, don't you think? Ha....I just wrote another blog, too!

I just want to sit you on my knee and hug you.
You my darling are working on the corners of you that aren't as wonderful as they could be......well Duh....stop feeling like a fraud You are human. We all have corners and sometimes enormous areas that need work....but I'm thinking that such a sweet funny loving and beautiful caring person like you can't have much more than a few dust balls to sweep away.People love getting offended and blaming someone else...especially someone sweet and I dare to say a little insecure since her husband left her for someone else....that's always a good insecurity injection. whose new step family are cautious to down right cruel and rude to you.....and a husband who should be anxious beyond all reason to please you, beautiful you, he is so lucky to have you....eeeeeeeks  I have written a blog. Sorry love.
