Mums always wish.. but mums also always have a spare space to accept and love endlessly when her wishes come out differently.. They do delight more than they disappoint.. Thank you, sam..

Re: Great post
I agree.. although they are little, children are full-individuals and separate entities from their parents. They have their minds and views and they will build their worlds different from ours..

You are so smart to allow them to forge ahead with their own dreams, it can be no other way. My son played with soldiers, too! If my son gets maimed or dies from all this mess, I will carry on knowing that he did what he believed to be right and he followed his heart! I commend him for not many people truly put their lives on the line for what they profess. Take care, they will delight more than disappoint with their decisions. Honestly, I still wish he had a desk job, it's the mom in me! sam

Great post
Deep thoughts throughout... I think raising children forces us to examine our own views more than any other thing ever could

Ocalion - A wonderful post. It's a fearful situation to be in and I understand Sam's heartache very well.Your son is so cute with his questions. May the Almighty protect and guide him for always.
