I walked to work in 10 degree weather, so I could relate to your situation. Fingerless gloves are great, although I don't have any. I used to have some very thin silver-looking ones I would use when doing photography. Regular gloves do not work when taking pictures.

FSI
Frost bite is not good, dealt with it a lot in my life, happy you got gloves....there is also a cream you can get to apply to your hands when you work in the cold.....

FSI - Glad your mum gave you those gloves as a Christmas present. Frostbite I can tell is surely painful. Thanks so much for your visit and I am glad I put you more into the Christmas spirit. Have a lovely one.

I hate frostbite on fingers and I hate chillblains on toes. Had both as a
child.

If I weren't such a domestic she-devil, I would knit you a pair of gloves. Thanks so much for your comments.

I'm tickled that you got the needed gloves - they are so cleverly crafted.  I do hope all in all FSI that you will stay warmer this season...I commend you for your ambition  Elyse

It seems like even with those special gloves the finger tips would freeze?
I really am not looking forward to cold hand and feet this winter.  I can't imagine working long hours outside in ten degree weather.
