To kill one's self happened a lot in the Old testament for the very reason you cited, to save those around them from the deed. Some asked but were denied! I am on edge for the suspense but reading about war with the impending deployment makes it far more real that I would like at this point in my life but we carry on regardless! sam

I'd like it better if they knocked him out and left him, but that's just
my bias. Wouldn't it be cool if they came back after the mission and the partisans took him along? He could be a valuable asset ...
