Thank you all for the welcome and I assure any conservative I am up for the challenge however being the compassionate kind tree-hugging liberal that I am I must say we have to follow some ground rules-rule number one-Don't call me names and I won't call you names. Rule number two-the free exchange of ideas is a fantastic thing, insulting someone because your view is different is not the free exchange of ideas it is mean and not productive to an exchange of views and the most important rule-no matter how wrong your conservative view of things I will not delete your comment or block you as long as your respectful.

What a good initiative!
I too am one of the so called liberals who just happen to blog on this site. Being relatively peaceful I try to discuss political issues as politely as possible.I do not believe in calling people names and insulting them, just because they happen to view the world in a different way.
I wept with joy the day President Obama won the election. You see, although I live on the other side of the world, the fact remains that what is decided in Washington has repercussions for us too.

O My discussion club ranges from Z 100 radio stuff to social but not political issues. I did receive As in two Government courses. However that’s good you’re active. I learned that in college love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

So this is the Liberals Lounge, well, well...it smells like I imagined it to smell. Nevertheless, I was just 'buzzing" around outside the door, as if I was a bee attracted to honey, (gee that sounds familiar) or more like a shark circling would be more like it. Thought I would peak inside. I always wondered what one of these lounges would look like inside. I noticed the background blue color immediately, I figured it may be some sort of psychedelic hippie thing going on or something to that effect. I see that you have met kooka. He is one of the resident liberal here on Blogit. I am sure you two will get along swimmingly.
Well, just wanted to stop by and check things out. I will be back...trust me I will.

I hope that you are not driven away by the conservative fundamentalists who love to come in and attack anything that does not fit in their narrow minded world. They often make having civil exchanges next to impossible here and the name of your blog will most likely attract them like flies to honey, thinking they have a new target to go after,
A small suggestion, change your background color here. You can't read the links at the bottom of the page since the background is the same color as they are.
Looking forwards to seeing what you have to say.
