I'm hoping for a few more giggles before he becomes more 'realistic' in life..

Thank you, sam

Re: He sounds like a great child

Hi StrickGold

Yes it is.. Imagination is what makes children learn and grow.. I'm glad that lately, there are some TV shows for kids that try to encourage children's imagination, such as The Backyardigans, Little Einsteins and Barney..

I love listening to my sons building their stories about their own pyramids, with mummies, skeletons, ancient armies, etc., or about a trip in the forest and making friends with wild animals.. I'm sure I wasn't that imaginative when I was their age..

Thank you for visiting my blog

Re: elinjo

He is.. Watching him having fun doing his Maths homework by imagining the numbers as cookies, toys, etc., makes me wish learning was this fun when I was at school..

I'm glad that in his school, the teachers are appreciative towards children's imaginations and personal interests, so I don't need to hold him back (as long as things are going normal)..

Ariq sounds a delightful child . Long live imagination even if it brings us out in a sweat once in a while!
