Re: Re: OTA

Muley.. Thinking some more.. if we believe in God.. where is God? Is God waiting until we tune the channel? There is no where God isn't. not time, no place.. in my thoughts.. so everything I say do or do not do is under his radar.. so perhaps .. in a sense.. my life is a ceasless prayer..

what do you think?

Hi chris2303, nice to meet you! You have done nothing wrong, I am and have always been in the humor section because I do write humorous posts from time to time. I am not one to be fenced in so to speak, and do write many spiritual posts even though I am in the humor section. Sorry for the confusion. Those that know me are no longer confused (I think).

Re: OTA
Hi Rhonda! I think that is a great idea we should all consider, prayer without ceasing! It is very hard to do if you are not a monk with a vow of silence, but if we can keep our thoughts on God as much as possible, we can truly change the world. Thank you.

"Prayer without ceasing."

I have been pondering that thought since I read this post of yours. Like the golden rule where we are " asked" to treat others as we would be treated, I wonder .. perhaps we do treat others as we treat ourselves.. and... and.. we do pray with out ceasing to a God who is hearing every groan of complaint, every peal of laughter, every vain thought, every humble request. I am still rolling this one around in my head.. but thank you for the stimulus good man.

I have a deep connection with the Lord, too! I talk everything over with Him! I sit in silence and wait on Him as well. Very nice testimony! sam

Hi StrickGold, nice to meet you. You are very right. The worse thing we can do in a crisis, is worry, fret, and panic because we unconsciously shut down the very path way by which God helps us. This is where love and faith carry us through.

Well said
I remind myself daily that God does not close one door without opening another. I lay my fears and troubles at his feet and I know that everything is going to be okay..

I DON'T HAVE LONG REPETITIOUS PRAYERS EXCEPT THE "OUR FATHER"
EACH DAY. I JUST HAND EVERYTHING TO GOD ONCE A DAY BECAUSE HE KNOWS EVERYTHING BETTER THAN I DO ANYWAY.
