During Hurricane Katrina, one of our big beer companies bottled WATER.
I do not know how they distibuted it or if the bottles had deposits on them....

If the choice leads to too much inner conflict, you can always avoid it altogether and buy one of our excellent Canadian beers...

I'm glad they make soft drinks to appeal to those like me.

When I was stationed in France in the 50's I enjoyed both kinds and still have a label off a bottle of Carlsburg beer. I haven't had a drink of alcohol of any kind now for over 41 years, thanks to a Jewish doctor in Montreal, Henry Morganthaler. I didn't like him back then but he told me precisely what I was in very rude terms, God Bless him. LOL

I guess you’ll just have to try Tuborg for a while…. From what I can tell they are both produced by the Carlsberg Group (which I guess was your point).

Re: The only real difference I ever found was when I got to Guinness,
There's a true beer culture over here dating from the days where you risked your life if you drank water.

Ariala, the other day you wrote about your curly hair. I used to use beer shampoo to tame my curls.

The only real difference I ever found was when I got to Guinness,
that dark foamy beer that tastes best directly from a tap. And there's one that comes out every fall, Heiferveisen (can't spell it) that differs. As for all the others, I have a sneakin' suspicion they're all brewed to taste the same and each advertised as unique.

Very interesting! I've never liked the taste of beer or wine, though
I grew up in an Italian home where wine was served at dinner. I never got a taste for it and still don't drink to this day.

Betty - How amazing. Here the choice in preference for beer drinkers actually vary with the race, can you imagine. I love the statues in Denmark. Beautiful! Have a peaceful day too. Thank you and God bless.
