Thank you so much for the information and inspiration. I have been writing a book (I should say more thinking than writing) since December and have felt similar frustrations. Thank for showing me it CAN get done. Please keep us posted

I am so proud of you! I bet that was disappointing when you deleted it! I have no idea what your novel is about, but when it's finish I hope you sell it and I can get a copy. My 4th son "Bob" is going to write a novel with 2 friends in November for National Novel Writing Month. It's where you try to write a full size novel in a month! I wonder how that goes? I actually started one too, and have only written 3 pages at the coffee shop last week. It will take me at least a year I'm sure to finish it. God bless you.

Re: lustorlove
More than likely no due to identity issues.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I too have lost work that I have done because my computer crashed. This is the second time it has happened and for the past week I have been feeling like giving up. You have encouraged me.

wow that is neat, but makes you wonder what writers did without computers, like you and sam both having computer problems.  Will you tell us about the novel?

Excellent! As a prof of mine said once (mind you, he was not talking about novels) - "The most difficult, but also most important thing about writing is actually doing it..."

Well done! I do hope you succeed in getting it published.

The thought of accidentally deleting the whole novel makes me go cold. I really admire your stickability - I think I'd have given up at that point.

Writing is so addictive.  The more one does it, the more one wants to do.
