I still lean toward 80 degree weather, but I am starting to get accustomed to the colder days. I am happy it has been in the 70's here the last few days. I am not ready for the bitter cold that's coming yet.

One of the most beautiful, yet destructive types of Kansas City weather is the ice storm.  I just love them if I'm inside looking out, and fear them if I am out in them, both driving and walking.

That's really nice, well said. I usually hate cold weather too, but the Colonel's quote got me thinking now...

It's cold and damp here today. Over here they say there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. In other words if you dress suitably you can enjoy nearly any kind of weather.
