I've never had any money Pat , so I wouldn't know anything about it. When my mothr died, my elder sister came up from England and told me not to worry she would look after everything.
She did - she took it with her as well.

I have a tendency not to worry about money, to a point where it's a flaw if you ask Queen V. If I have it, I spend it freely, often with little to show for it besides pleasant memories. I don't worry about family squabbles either. After our mother died, our aunt forced my brother and me to take her valuables, including a cut of the insurance money.

I loved this post kiddo. I used to worry myself sick about money, I had a little but I tried to fix it so that it would last and keep me going with my government OAS ans CPP until I was 80. Then I thought, who cares.LOL But now love lives here and Kabu and I share everything so now I hope to live 'til 100. LOL

something I find so wonderful here in blogit-land is that so many of you
have much more interest in everything before money.

One way of not thinking about the sad state of one's portfolio is to escape to Blogit.

I got a laugh at your "ha-ha-ha-portfolio". I definitely know what that is.
