Re:
LOL. I'm glad to hear that and thank you.  This isn't to bash anybody or anything. Just to celebrate the lovelier gender.

Re:
Yeah I believe like I said that God made things the way he meant them to be. I just don't believe that that makes them better. Thanks for the comments.

What a great tribute to women. I have also heard so many men use that line also, man was created first.  Do you find it curious that woman was made out of man. Perhaps the feminine was already within man, taken out made separate in the physical? I know there are belief systems that believe the first human was both male and female.  Also there is no man nor woman that is 100% male or female each gender has male and female mechanics within them. Really enjoyed this. Blessed Be.

Re: So much praise for a woman and in the next breath teh brickbats will come?
I beg your pardon? Who's sending these brickbats? Certainly not me.

Re:
I appreciate those words so much. I'm beyond glad that this poem was well received. That it reminded you of Toni Morrison, who I love... That's... Wow... Thanks again.

Re: wonderful fun to read
Thanks so much. I had to have that as the first line because so many guys I know use that as their reasoning as to why they are superior; and more why it was always meant for them to be that way. I never read in the bible where they were superior because they were first. Stronger physically yes, but superior no. God made woman and man just the way he wanted them. We're different and I celebrate my differences.

Incredulous ... awesome... stupendous and flat out excellent! A woman softening a storm with her words reminded me of a Toni Morrison passage [The Bluest Eye], where the narrator says, 'And the honey in her words was like the sun spilling on the lake." This was so grand to read! So good! sam
