hi johnmacnab
I suffer from sore fingers too when I type/work for too long doing research.  My problem is more the knuckles on the index and middle fingers of my right hand (from moving the miniature trackball in my ibm laptop).  So I bought a nifty optical mouse the other day, which just plugs into the USB port.  Mouse works on the sofa too,  so you can look busy while you keep an eye on TV.

So nice to catch up with you! I think if you got a good deal on the car, who's counting, indeed! sam

Re: TAPS
I have a vague idea for the first chapter and the hero(ine).  Now that I've signed up, I've received an email from NaNoWriMo, and the part that has me laughing is the fact that I should have FUN as I write, and not to edit.   That'll be a change.

Pat_B
I hope I enjoy it as well, Pat, and I hope I learn from it.  It is ordered, and according to Amazon, is on its way.

I wondered where you'd run off to.  Welcome back!

I guess you have your plot in mind?  I hope you share it with us.  It's fun to follow Pat_B along the way feeding on the crumbs that she throws our way.  It would be fun to try to keep up with how its going with you too.

Welcome back, Johnny Mac!
I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did. Thanks for the reminder. I want to read it again, now where did I put that...
