Well I rather enjoyed your views on life...some people just refuse to accept the realities of this world and make-believe everything will be alright if they contemplate happy-endings and unicorns long enough. They do this instead of understanding the truth and trying to change things for our future children that will have to bear the weight of our pathetic state of being. I like the cold, hard reality of things, so keep it up!!!

Very good poem, Doug....
Your take on life....
If you go beneath the surface (avoid newspapers, TV, etc for a year at least) the perspective may shift. There are all sorts of other (good) things in the universe too.
Treasures lie just below the sand;
Waiting to be found
