Habitat is a wonderful charity that really makes a difference in
the lives of people, recipients and donors alike. Nothing but food is more fundamental than a home. We just got a Habitat chapter here in Mundane about two years ago. I was stunned when a letter to the editor popped up with the comment "we don't want those people here," meaning the homeless. Fortunately the odds are about 5,000 to one against that sentiment, and volunteers are working on the second house now. Congratulations!
