You are so right, Muley. It has been going on for ages throughout the world; this 'elite powerful manipulating by striking fear in the minds of common people'. We all know it, but what to do about it? Do you have a suggestions? A great post...again.

It isn't just in America where the fear factor is used. The free world is a
long way left behind us. Satellites have changed the worls and I agree with what you say about the media. Good post.

Fear mongering, a very timely posting!
Mikey,
AMEN Brother! Tom ridge just pulled aside the curtain GWB and all of his slimy cronies were hiding behind. ("Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!")
If any of those lying weasels told us that "water is wet," I'd have to assume that it isn't anymore! Politicians make used car salesmen, snake-oil hucksters and sideshow barkers appear to be trustworthy, by comparison.
If any of my friends or relatives went into national politics, I would disown them, knowing that our connection is doomed, just as it would be, were they to announce that they were becoming suicide bombers, confidence men, or pedophiles.
