I am however still unclear as to if you guys are for or against socialized medicine.

I thought your side was against socialized medicine, yet you seem to be big time wanting to keep a long standing form of socialized medicine here in the US from being changed. Medicare is as socialized as it gets. In fact when it was introduced, the conservatives back then fought it as hard as you guys are right now fighting the universal health care system.
I often wonder if you MACs are even aware of what you are really fighting against.
