I think you know the triggers and this time around should be much more successful! There's something to be said for a love that runs deep and can overcome obstacles! It is hard to put into words, but it is real! Head for those hills and kiss those doggies for me, too! sam

Please be cautious my friend! Hard decision to make.

It may come to that for me too, but not yet. I need to be as ready as you were when you walked - and I know that is not the case as the moment. I'm so happy things turned out better for you!

Re: Subtle and effective dialog. Lovingly developed.
Thank you ever so much, Pat-B. It is heartening to any writer when reading such words by someone who writes as you do. I also hope the pundits are wrong - and isn't that what life is all about? Getting over that brick wall?

You're right Nautikos
She is a very good friend - everyone needs someone like her. Thank you for your wishes.

Wiley
After reading your book and now your Blog about the love between you & Kabu, I have every hope that things will turn out okay. Thank you!

Re: I pray this is fiction. It is wonderful writing but I fear for you if it is
Kabu, maybe if anyone can give me a valid warning, it is you, and believe me, it is sincerely appreciated. I have to try once more, and am hoping that my friend will eventually become to me what Wiley is to you. Then my efforts will have been all worthwhile, won't they?

Troosha, thank you
It is a glimpse into my life, and I know my heart is overruling my head, but I guess I have a very strong heart and a very weak head. I calculated my options (sort of) and the heart won hands down. Thank you for caring!

Thank you BC-A,
It's like "The more I meet people, the more I love my dogs" thing isn't it? LOL.

I wish I could be more positive.  But I've been there.  I walked away, it hurt, but looking back I dont regret it, because every thing got better the second I did.

Subtle and effective dialog. Lovingly developed.
You've built in a sense of one very safe and mutually trusting relationship in the here and now of the scene, and one not-so-trusting but deeply hopeful one. Dr. Phil and other pundits say the best way to predict one's future behavior is to look at the past. If this blog is real, it seems so real, then I hope the pundits are wrong. Your story just begs for a happy continuation.

What's there to add? Other than that I wish you well, of course, and that you have a very good friend there...

Kabu isn't right with her comment. Wiley won't say anything because he knows miracles do happen and I pray you live to see that luv.

So well written.  I pray that everything will work out wonderfully and your future will be all that you wish it to be.

I pray this is fiction. It is wonderful writing but I fear for you if it is
true. Wiley will tell you don't go there I know.

There will always be people who second-guess our decisions or don’t quite fully understand the inner workings of a relationship that we want to fix, improve, salvage, or renew.  Only we know in our heart (and our gut) what the best decision is.  Mind you, I have found myself in situations when my heart overrode my head….and that wasn’t necessarily a good thing.  If this is a glimpse into your life (versus fiction) I wish you well….       Loved how you described the scenario and the subtleties of the exchange between to friends.

I identify with your differences as related to the scene in the singles bar at this time for myself. However I’m peaceful and love my own doggies love. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst
