Cool! I watched The Secret with my husband about a year ago, and have been slowly incorporating the ideas into my life,and he has as well. If you've never watched or read it, it is powerful stuff, but really very simple. Everyone has a different way of practicing, but it's just basically believing that good will come to you, thinking about what it is you want, and watching it happen. A few days ago, I was laying down for a nap and I forgot to bring the book that I'm currently reading in with me. I have a Bible on my night stand, so I decided to leaf through that and just see what I found. I believe in God, and I pray every day, but I don't really read the bible very often. The verse that I happened upon is one that I had not heard since I was a kid, "Ask and thou shall receive." Book of Matthew, Chapter 7, something like verse 7 (I don't have it right in front of me). Paraphrasing the next part, it says that he who has asked has never been denied. What a concept! If you really want it, it's yours! Your post fits right in with the way I'm thinking.
