I don't know anything (not even bad marriages) that are as frustrating
and endlessly wearing on the very last bitter nerve as remodeling. Geez, the mess, the dust everywhere, the inconvenience, nothing where it should be, feeling lost and confused and totally at the mercy of uncaring or deliberately stupid mercenaries. Take a break. Go out to a tablecloth restaurant and let someone wait on you, have a dollop of ice cream on your warm apple pie. (And remember the details. You can use it in a story some time.)
