Yes....
...so work on
unattaching the 'meaning' that you/life has conditioned yourself to associate with Sundays.
Make it Day One! And start a new life! (Just a thought.)

When I get sad I try to think of songs and before you know it I'm singing,
or humming, or just remembering....

I have a hard time around the holidays, too. I live far away from my family, and it's just me, my hubby, and the animals at holidays. We have fun, but there is a definitive emptiness to the quiet house. As for Sundays, I work in a restaurant, so those always suck

Go in at 5:30 in the morning and just get mercilessly pummeled with orders until around 3:00. Well, hope you feel better. Great poem, I think the term "poignantly expressed" has been thrown around already, it is exactly right.

So very sad...beautifully written.

It takes time for a heart to heal, and I hope your heart is.

I think you need a hug ((((

)))) - and I can truly relate to this. Weekends, holidays, and night times can be lonely times.

Tears keeping one company was so poignant! I think that happens when folks are alone at the holidays! Nice write! Much food for thought, too! I do prefer quiet holidays alone, though! The hustle and bustle drive me nuts! Have a great day tomorrow, I will refrain from naming it! sam
