Yes....
...so work on unattaching the 'meaning' that you/life has conditioned yourself to associate with Sundays.

Make it Day One! And start a new life! (Just a thought.)

Sad but true...
Very touching poem, I've experienced this pain before.

When I get sad I try to think of songs and before you know it I'm singing,
or humming, or just remembering....

Don't let your heart from your soul depart. Make the best out of Sunday and every holiday. Life is only once try to find the sunshine .

I have a hard time around the holidays, too.  I live far away from my family, and it's just me, my hubby, and the animals at holidays.  We have fun, but there is a definitive emptiness to the quiet house.  As for Sundays, I work in a restaurant, so those always suck  Go in at 5:30 in the morning and just get mercilessly pummeled with orders until around 3:00.  Well, hope you feel better.  Great poem, I think the term "poignantly expressed" has been thrown around already, it is exactly right.

So very sad...beautifully written. It takes time for a heart to heal, and I hope your heart is.

I think you need a hug (((( )))) - and I can truly relate to this. Weekends, holidays, and night times can be lonely times.

Some days/holidays can be very rough given the memories they can conjure up.

That's sad.  There may be many alone people who feel that way.

Tears keeping one company was so poignant! I think that happens when folks are alone at the holidays! Nice write! Much food for thought, too! I do prefer quiet holidays alone, though! The hustle and bustle drive me nuts! Have a great day tomorrow, I will refrain from naming it! sam
