Beautifully expressed Krissles... and you are so right. The American spirit is alive and well... no matter what the pesimists say and the troubles we are going through bring the best out on us... at least most of us :-), those hard times will make us stronger and we will come out at the end of the bad trail better than ever, I believe that. I hope you had a happy 4th.

Indeed, it sounds like the cover of Life magazine and done by Rockwell! I adored many of the points you made! I like that it is us and not the spoiled celebrity types who throw their two cents in at every opportunity! What a cool thing for the soldier brothers to do; now that is taking care of family! I salute them! sam
