This is a very good poem with word pictures that many can relate to. Loving someone can hurt, when it is not returned. God heals the heart and then we can love again.

Whoa! Was not expecting that ending. Losing love is painful, it makes you question your worth and yourself, but there is still wonder in this world!

It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all! I can appreciate this poem for it poignancy when a love is lost! It does feel like death at times! Kudos on this fine effort! sam
