Glorious rest for the restless spirit is sleep. Peace to tune the soul.

The last line in particular really stood out. I have met so many that feel that way.

I share in your thoughts! So wonderful to escape into a dream but reality seems to bring us back to the nuaunces of our existence! Excellent work, sweetie! How are you? Love you, too! sammie xoxoxoxo

Sinome, that dreamworld only poets and authors can experience is indeed
both alluring and frightening at times (some of my best stories have come to me in dreams).....well put as always.....

Sinome
Unfortunately, sometimes even within our sleep, our dreams, reality slips into the wonderful place of nothingness.  Be that as it may,  sleep and sweet dreams can be ever so renewing… I felt myself wishing you could find such a moment of peace.

To sleep, perchance to dream!

  Sinome,

Sleep can be elusive, alluring, and extremely seductive. Necessary for life and sanity, rejuvenating, refreshing and eventually everlasting, as in Michael Jackson's case. Perhaps his eternal sleep, the sleep that he paid such a great price to obtain, has now healed his warped desires and his tortured soul. It is not ONLY time, that heals all wounds.

Sleep is often a merciful respite--beautifully expressed.

Sinome

There is always something in your poetry that catches my mind quickly and I love jumping off into that void every night luv.

".....I would give myself up gladly,
I would jump into that void,...."

Very good Sinome!
Yes, I so understand this, too......

I think sometimes poets can communicate things that normally we cant express aloud -Things of the heart; and you do that beautifully here.
