The sky has brushed its teeth,
the sun has rubbed her eyes
The breeze watches the clouds go by
revealing hues of blue underneath
and from the east, fingers of light
try very hard to pierce the gray
that like a blanket made of clouds
darkens the start of our day
But storm, no storm,
Here I come
which I will admire from a distance
the children arent aloud outside to play
with that I sum
I watch a misty cloudy roll in
it sends shivers through my mind
I wonder what the storm will bring
What story will unwind

Just a little thing more
The sky has brushed its teeth,
the sun has rubbed her eyes
The breeze watches the clouds go by
revealing hues of blue underneath
and from the east, fingers of light
try very hard to pierce the gray
that like a blanket made of clouds
darkens the start of our day
But storm, no storm,
Here I come
