problem is, people who believe the bible believe so differently

you have thousands of Christian denominations, sects and cults.  All of them use the Bible as the basis for their belief.  Each of them believes that they are absolutely right.

So how come we get so many differences of belief from the Bible?

Well said Justi. One of the things I like too is when reading something, I might flip back or forward a page or two and find something that somehow speaks to me.  I never get bored or tired of finding out things from this great book.  You can go away for a while - hopefully only a very few days..  but you always come back to it.

I know exactly what you mean. I see miracles constantly. He is a God of his promises. The word is layered layer upon layer. I love it. He does meet his children's needs.

I study the Holy Bible and you are very correct, no one will understand it totally! I will study for the rest of my days and enjoy it very much! It is through this study that I have come to have great faith! I know what to pray for and I am always overwhelmed how He blesses me! I recently lost my home in this mortgage mess and I ask the Lord to help me find another home that would meet my needs! I have my bicycle ministry and desperately needed a two car garage and enough yard to erect my portable warehouse, and I selfishly wanted a den, but I do my work in it, and because it wasn't a show piece I got that too! But the most remarkable thing is that I got a large kitchen, cathedral ceilings, covered patio and just a pleasant home! In fact it is nicer than my last one! This is not about bragging but a true testament to the Lord for giving me a place that keeps me very comfortable for I am essentially homebound with these migraines! The Lord is so very precious to me! sam
