Ciel, I love looking at "Photo Highlights" on internet news pages. These photos of that seal are better than any I've seen there.

Yes, about 10 feet, I'd say... though of course these seals, being New Zealanders, use metric.

Must be quite an experience being suddenly face to face with a large, somewhat suspicious seal, lol. How close were you, about ten feet or so?
