I read this a couple days late, but still: happy birhtday. Twenty-four is a fabulous age and you're so right to live life as it comes. It doesn't help one bit to worry over things you cannot change - I'm 53, but I still enjoy my life and although I know I'll probably be out of work by August, I don't worry. Something will come up, it always does. And I can still live well enough on unemployment aid, I've seen to that. No loans I can't pay off. I wil always have enough to pay for food and utilities. Have to be content with small things, my grandma taught me.

Happy birthday a day late!
I missed this post, but happy belated birthday. 24 is a great age to be! I actually was 24 once. I don't mind being 52, although I don't like that my eyes are not as good as they once were. I am glad you are not depressed right now. I also dropped out of college because of depression, when I was about 23. Photography is a great skill to learn. Digital is a bit different that the old style I learned and the "darkroom" work. Hope you had a great birthday!

yes you have had a busy year, my daughter was 23 on June 8th so you are a year and 6 days older, happy birthday
