Letterman and all his like
SICK! SICK! SICK!  That is supposed to be funny? Entertaining? The whole world should just turn him off, since he obviously still thinks he made a "joke".

Kressie Baer*s All  Aah Corbin, speaking for myself I’m still an independent-minded registered Republican that has voted for the Democratic presidential candidate straight from 1996 onwards, carrying a Democratic National Committee membership card and wonders about Sarah Palin in view of how she’ll look in 2012, the merger in identification of the two major parties and what’s happened to the separate Conservative and Liberal parties that includes separation of philosophical movements from political parties as well as freedom of speech and especially the press; but I point out that the Bill of Rights affects you too and I do so enjoy your posts, and in this way I respect your position again: if I’m honest I’ll say I see both sides, although the governor seems too sensitive for the office of President at this time, meaning that it confuses her role as a model and leader for women and even feminists that separate the economic, political, and moral issues, myself a conservative in the last politically as Americans have exercised their freedom of choices since the Declaration of Independence that our forefathers wrote in this style. Thank you for an interesting post sir. BCA, BillJRoost

CORBIN
There are no standards of civil treatment for conservatives in the mind of Letterman.....never have been.  He must have been scared by one early in life!  And, you're absolutely right, ridiculous excuse for an apology.

It was a stupid, lame attempt at humor.
Not the first dumb sexist comment ever made by an older guy. It just reached a wider audience than most. If I were Alex Rodriguez I might also take offense at this bit of crude slander.

Re: Corbin
If they made that mistake the first time, with the routine, why would they make the same mistake, and expand upon it..... in the pathetic apology?  I can't buy that........

It was a tasteless 'joke' in any case, but I will assume in Letterman's defense that he (or his writer) thought it was Bristol who was at the game...
