I'm just wondering ... have you read any of C G Jung's thoughts on archetypes (the collective unconscious)? The thoughts you express have a familiarity about them that reminds me of the mystic dimension of poetry..
"Together we bear the burden of our days and nights
For all ages we are ageless dreams floating in ethereal splendour "
