I love this sentence:  "The setting sun was the perfect background for the reflection of the tall, majestic trees on the calm water."   I see it!  I see it perfectly.

It's nice that you can spend some time with your daughter.  And yes, with such a beautiful weather I do smile while walking about an working in the garden!
