Business is business.
Being a smart businessman, your father set aside personal feelings to make mature business decisions.  Letting go of Josh would have been harmful to the bottom line.

Putting feelings aside..it seems after all your Dad is sensible, constructive and wise. But that is a tough situation.

It sounds as though Josh is an invaluable asset. What a very uncomfortable situation though for all concerned.

Sometimes words cut deeper than knives... and the scars they leave are even longer lasting,  I am sorry this happened...

It is often hard to forget and forgive when hurtful words are said in haste.

Josh said some very hurtful things! I think it will take our dad awhile to forgive! Hopefully sooner the better, for forgiveness is for your dad first! sam

In a business, people often get sideways with one another, but with give and take from both parties, it usually resolves.  Even if it is just on a business basis, Josh seems to be a valuable asset at this time.  He knows the equipment and locations and often will know what the problem is before he even arrives at the repair site.  Alls well that ends well!  Have a good day!
