What's wrong with getting a couple signatures?
Believe me. I've been there and done that, several times....

Hmmmmmm.
Sounds to me that maybe your priorities are a bit askew right now. ., maybe?? By the way. . , I've gotten an F (or two) on my college resume as well. Ummm. . , for the same reason.

So am I upset? The answer is no. You are the only one to know your inner goals....and plans to meet them. I had this exact same thing happen to me once......it was for a Spanish Literature course and the idea of having to repeat even the half-semester of it I had...ughhhhhh!....and every year my three semesters of Spanish were fading farther and farther away....I just couldn't make myself do it.....for almost 20 years!!! I came up in a time that not having finished my degree was not detrimental to my career until I'd been there that long and climbed several wrungs on the "ladder".
Suddenly, it did come up...even though it actually wasn't legal, at least not at the time. Actually, I had taken enough courses over the years simply for my own enjoyment, I had enough hours to pull together and finish up with just one semester and get my gpa up even with the "F" technically still on file....I never did take that course.......but, it all would have been simpler if I'd done it at the gitgo.....just my experience. No degree is waaaay more of a deal now.....but, like I said, that might not be a detriment to your goals. Whichever, best of luck to you.

Seems idiotic that you have to withdraw from a course
after you have withdrawn from the school! That ought to be automatic. However, since they have that rule, and since you knew of it, I don't quite understand why you didn't just get those two signatures...

I got straight As once
but I don't think it really counts. It was the summer semester and I only took one class:)

The only "F" I ever made was in 8th grade Social Studies on a term grade card and it scared me to death. So, by semester grades I had pulled it up to a notch. It was a time in my life when I had decided to play around and ignore school work, especially that subject. It was a lesson for me that I never forgot.

So in the long run you won't really lose out, will you?

It seems to me that if you withdraw from college it should be automatic
that you are withdrawn from any and all classes you were signed up for. My school is the same way. I receive an F, also, for the same exact reasons. I am somewhat upset, but... oh well. ooxxoox
