Ah.....the rain is magical to me. I often like to sit in my balcony in my hammock when rain is falling, so I can listen to its soothing sound as I drink a cup of hot cocoa. It's a most peaceful time - more so than any other, I think.

Just caught up with your last few posts--they're all so beautiful and poignant that I'm at a loss for words to describe them. Thanks very much for your usual kind comment on my post. Nita.

..and all the hues of gray that surround me seem to calm my aching heart...
Serene and painful..

I woke early this morning to heavy rain and rolling, booming thunder. It was wonderful--except for Pitiful's yowling. She is so nervous when it rains.

I love the rain, Marta. Not every day, but I do love it. It rained last
night and this morning everything is bright and beautiful.

Yet another beautiful poem! I too love going for walks in the rain as long as it's not too torrential.

Sounds like a soul-cleansing walk in the rain.

Rain is cleansing. I am a lover of rain, myself. I so enjoyed this poem.
