The Bible says we are all sinners.  It is evident in our lives.  Even at a young age we have that part of us that does not do what is right.  When I was a child I remember "trying to be good" just for a day.  I could not do it.  After I gave my heart completely to the Lord, he forgave me of all my sins.  A peace came upon me.  I cannot say I have never sinned since then, but the difference is now I don't want to and am grieved in my heart when I do.  It is a great freedom to know that your sins are forgiven.  I am going to heaven, not because I am "good", but because God forgave me.  What is sin?  To begin with, it is breaking the 10 commandments.  If it is a "grey" area, we will know in our heart if we are sensitive.

Re: Re: Re: .................thanks bhaskaring,

It goes:

Chorus:

"I wanna know more, about my Jesus,

I wanna know more, about my Lord,

I wanna Know more about that mansion,

I'm gonna recieve, as my reward,

I wanna know more, about that homeland,

I mean to go there some day some how,

And after I reach, that Heavenly city,

I mean to know more, than I know now.

Verse-

He promised me, His soul ascended,

I'm coming back, the Lord did say,

If on His promise you've depended,

On wings of love, you'll soar away!

Do you like it?

Re: onwingsoflove.....to bhaskar.ing

Well, if you are NOT a sinner, then you would be born-again and would have nothing to worry about when you die. Infact, you'd be looking foward to it.  If I, this very day, found out that I had only 1 week to live, I would be sad in a way, of course, but also, I would be counting down the days till I walk through those pearly gates. I would also be spending more time with my lost loved ones and friends, begging and pleading with them to get saved, and not to go to Hell, (which of course, is something that Christians should do anyway). I knew a preacher who was one of the most humble people I knew. He would look straight in your eyes when he shook your hand, and say "I love you", and you knew he meant what he said. The last sermon he preached at 96 years old, and he was barley able to stand up, he got so sick, he had to stop preaching and someone had to lead him out of the church and take him to a hospital. But, as they led him out, he turned around to his congregation(which had lost church members in it) and his last words to them was "Don't die lost, and please don't go to Hell".

On the other hand, if a person is not saved, I think that they should be seeking Him. But the sad part about "death bed repentance" is that it rarely happens. The Holy Spirt convicts people of their sins while they are living, and God is only obligated to give a person 1 chance to get saved. If that person rejects, they may very well died in their sins unless Gog extends His mercy one more time, and they accept. What is sad is that when a person rejects the Lord, and refuses His grace and mercies, they may not ever get another chance. Then, while on their death bed, they try and pray and ask for mercy then, but it doesn't work that way. If a sinner doesn't come to God when the invitation is given, they don't get in. One can not get saved when they so choose. Some people want to live like the Devil until the last 5 or 10 min. of their life, but the chance has already been given, and the line has already been crossed. The Bible tells us to "Seek the Lord, while He may be found." Because one day very soon, that door of grace will close, and "Depart, I never knew you" will be the words from the Lord that the sinner will hear on judgment day.

I hope I answered you question. Thank you for such a sincere comment, I appreciate you not being childish as alot of others tend to be here on blog it. I pray that if you are not saved, that the sweet Holy Spirit will convict you, and you will accept Jesus as your Saviour. God Bless You.

I am intrigued as to how you will tackle my question; it's sincere, I wanted to tell you that.

And, what if, knowing that I am not a sinner, knowing that I'd live for a week, how would I live, onwingsoflove?

Re: ..........to spiderfly,
Titus chapter 2 and  verse 11 in the Bible tells us that "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men". So perhaps you have not trained up your children in the Lord. But one day, somehow, they will be convicted of their sins. The Lord will send someone along their way to witness to them, it will be up to them if they accept the Lord as their Saviour or not. And the title of a church has nothing to do with whether or not you go to Heaven or Hell. There will be plenty of people who tote the KJV of the Bible around and still go to Hell. Lots of people put on a show, but it doesn't work like that, for God knows their hearts. A denomination can't save a person, the Lord does that. I pray that someone will come by and plant a seed in your life. I have hopes that you will find  a church who has an anointed man of God that preaches the truth, whereby you may hear it and be saved. God Bless!

i am no sinner in my eyes and neither would my children be because I never taught them to pray or become members of some religious club.  If f this was all so how would you choose which one to belong to.  If it was a choice between heaven and hell is there not some place in the middle called paradise.  That is where I would like to be...........
