and it looks like you are in agreement with Corporate America --people are nothing but another tool for profits -- they are nothing but chattel to be ignored, thrown away and left behind when they are no longer useless.
this is the story that has been told for over a century -- however, the corporate side has always been proven false -- profits can be made, jobs maintained, prosperity can be had -- it always has been -- it always will be.
Thinking of the safety and welfare of people -- and the life of the Planet -- will not harm the economy -- that's just a lie told by Corporate America so they can continue making exorbitant profits.

that's the mindset of Corporate American -- been so for about 150 years. Profit before human welfare.
people have jobs and their medical expenses skyrocket because of a poor workplace environment
or your kids get asthma because of pollution in the air.
shows where your priorities are.

kk but the health trade off
reminds me of a steelworker -- he had a job all right -- until he developed severed emphysema from the job environment about age 50 -- then was basically totally disable -- that job meant nothing then
again -- what would we rather have -- a fake economy or our health?
