It has such a pained ending....almost desperate not to lose one perfect moment...not to lose one perfect love. And yet, I feel it is trying to say live without regrets - take each moment that life gives and go with it. Maybe I'm reading too much or too little into it, but for me, it seems more like life or loss rather than love or lust.
Am I crazy? Probably.
