From the little I saw of the coverage, the signs seemed tiredly partisan. The thing I don't understand is why there were was no such protest from the right when Bush and the Republicans were in power and wastefully spending to the nth degree - do you know billions were literally
lost in Iraq in the first years of so called reconstruction? Who is responsible for that great, unaffordable folly? I do have issues with the left too, but at least Obama and company's coming spending spree looks like it will benefit much more of the citizenry than just a few cozy insiders.

The tea party message is being convoluted into a divide and rule proposition. It is the rejection of of such things as bailouts and higher taxes. They don't see that!
