This is awesome...and finding pieces of their lives among the ruins of yours is something I am going to print out and put on my refrigerator. What a beautiful line! I was thinking these same things yesterday. I am now extra motivated by your post. I might just have to blog on this topic.

One person's clutter is the next guy's key to a memory.
That old piggy bank with a chip in one ear, a pebble picked up along a beautiful stream, a chunk of driftwood from a great camping trip, a souvenir menu from that quaint little joint along some back road when you got lost that time...
