I do know that "Do not cast your pearls before the swine" scripture well. I think about it often. But however, I think about it like this: "Look what the Lord did for me". He stood for me, and I will infact stand for Him as well. He went through a horrible agonizing death for me. The least I can do is stand up and defend the cause of His death for me. Jesus grew up, stood up, then He hung up on across for me, all the while being persecuted and mocked. The Bible says we'll be persecuted if we stand up for Him, for He Himself, being the son of God, was persecuted Himself. So, thats ok, I don't mind. Christ stood, and so will I. And God works in mysterious ways. Perhaps one day, and maybe not today, but perhaps one day, at some place, and at some time, perhaps these atheist I go back and forth with, will remember something I've said, and take it to heart. Not because I'm anything special because I am nothing at all, but it's the work of God in me. You never know.
