Happen to have a dictionary out and your post reminds me of something they were discussing on a program I veiwed the other day. The topic was Narcissism; thanks for the opportunity of looking it up, your comment about looking in the mirror hit me.
Narcissus: a youth made to pine away for love of his own reflection in a spring.
Narcissism: self-love, interest, often excessive interest, in one's own appearance, comfort, importance, abilities, etc.
Kind of hard to lift your eyes to the hills if they are glued to a mirror~ Preach On!
