but I don't see that any of this can hurt, what's wrong with talking about nuclear disarmament??? So what if it isn't realistic? Build your nuclear weapons and hold on to them forever? I don't get it.

I'm thinking perhaps that the "International Balance of Power" is going to do its own thing no matter what we think or say. But, it is interesting to read and discuss it.

Naut - here as in many matters, I agree with you! To me, calling to disarming nukes is like restuffing a down pillow once the feathers have blown to the wind. Not gonna happen. Better to figure out how to neutralize them if, horrors, one should fly. Several years ago, an Israeli friend was in CA working on the Arrow system. Looks like it works, proving once again that it's the Israeli DEFENSE Force - not OFFENSE force! Mal
