Love the "that was then, this is now" tone of your story. And
your involved enjoyment of now. I'm sure those little girls have a lot more than story time pasted in their memory books, but that would be wonderful on its own. As you write and grow in that skill, maybe they, too, will get the bug. Thanks for your comments on my blog. :)pat

This is such a lovely post. I am sorry your parents are alcoholics, sorry for them and for you. However, knowing you and your children have a predispition it is so good to make the children aware of this and keep up this wonderful relationship with them. Do not beat up on yourself for any past you are in the now and moving forward. God bless you abundantly.
