Naut.. Pyewacket.. yes... a good name for any witch's cat
perhaps it came from this little pamphet.. "The Discovery of Witches" (1647) 
My mother tells me she named her cat after a cat that belonged to a witch character that Kim Novak played in the movie...hmmmm.. the name escapes me...
.. but the character was a witch and her cats name was Pyewacket.
