To me is always hell to have to let someone go... even if their performance is below expectations... One of the things I do not miss about being semi retired is that I do not have to fire people anymore... Your writing is always very entertaining... I truly enjoy it :-)

its too bad your dad had to fire Dawn, hope what he did was legal. But if she had a botched up operation there are law suits and disablity for those in that case.
