I did not know this, but when I changed from dish to cable, the guy told me I should take the chip out of the converter boxes before sending them back. There is a chip that stores all of your information, everything that you have done..............

I agree totally. I just mentioned that yesterday, in our small town they are going to put cameras all over in "high crime" areas. The public will love it, but I see our freedom is being taken away for the sake of safety.

and our telephone conversations are listened to, maybe not word for word but if you use certain words then i would imagine the listen more closely. Small planes fly over daily, and i understand there is alot of illegal plants growing around and they are looking for them. It is also another way of checking for illegal (without permits) building and to increase taxes with improvements.
