I just read this in the paper this morning! So sad! I loved his voice and the 'Rest of the story' is just classic! I read where a teacher noticed his unique voice and got him into broadcasting which he had been doing since 1951! Truly an American icon! May he rest in peace! sam

Ah, Paul Harvey! 'The Rest of the Story' was enjoyed here in Canada as well, and I caught it often. There was a solid, homespun and forthright quality about that man which is no longer found among today's glib media types...RIP, Paul Harvey.
