Re:
Hi merkie:
YES ! ! I was in the hospital for 5 weeks with a bleeding ulcer, pneumonia, kidney failure... very close to death. My surgeon, a female Methodist, whose dad was a minister touched my soul when she leaned over me in my hospital bed and told me "I will find out what is wrong with you and take care of it." And she truly meant it. It moved me beyond words... needless to say! I am going to frame this poem and give her a copy. That experience made my heart surgery 8 months later seem like a cleaning at the dentist. I KNEW if I could survive all the tests, all the poking and prodding that I could survive anything. It brought closer to God,and I still to this day thank Him. He must have wanted me around longer for some reason, and that gives me all I need each day to face whatever may transpire.
Glad you liked the poem...
Bill

Is this a personal experience? Miracles occur and our attitudes can change to gratitude!
