Well, the time comes when....
FSI that you have to semi hang up tools.  BUT, people who have worked all their lives find it very hard to stop everything.  You haven't seen the last of him yet!

 Yes, you've got a point there, I think. People in their early 6os are often tired, if not burnt out, and if they only could get the chance to work fewer hours they would often make a better contribution, so that both they and their employers would feel much happier. Burn-out is a problem that could be helped in this way. Have a relaxing day today!

...but, the incentive to retire so he can devote more time to his own car wash business would still be there.
