I'm beginning to think I set the bar maybe a little too high. Thanks.

It does not matter to me what they title or the meaning behind it. I, as well as the masses, thoroughly enjoy your posts and your style.

In a way, you may always feel that way. I doubt I could ever stop feeling American no matter how long I lived in another country.

I considered changing the name sooner, usually upon my returns after the latest hiatus, but could never think of something suitable. Plus there was possibly "brand recognition" ideas to consider. The blog's title is linked to my user name. I wondered if one could thrive without the other.

Confessions of character – now that in itself should be inspiration enough for your blog.  Your writing, by the way, is always impeccable and a delight to read.

I doubt the course will change much if at all. It's what I called the blog that didn't make much sense to me.

Thanks. I'm still getting used to it. It's hard to let go of the familiar even when the familiar is wrong.

The titles are very important. They're what attracts readers to our blogs. A boring title suggests a boring post and people will stay away.

I love that quote and I love Emerson!
It's interesting how we choose our titles.  With mine I was still feeling lost in this 'new world' where we were living.  It's been 7 years since we moved to the States and I'm not sure I am still feeling displaced...in some ways I still am but in others, not so much.

I always wondered why you called it fool's errand but thought it
pre-dated the time I discovered it. I like the new title.  You're right.

Titles are so tricky. I put a lot of time myself into my titles.
